When one reclaims something that means it was either stolen, taken or lost and in either case this is exactly what has occurred with Black America long before the Civil Rights Movement. Ms. O'Brien has done a great job putting forward what could be easily categorized as the greatest display of programs about black America outside of Black History Month in American News Media {not discounting McDonalds 365 Black commercials:)}!
However, how much do the programs reflect our true range of diversity as a community and what is actually happening with our youth, our women, our men, and the elderly?
