Over the TOP! Why America Keeps Asking?

When the New Yorker published this cover it is safe to ask "what were they thinking?" I mean can it be more obvious that some have grave concerns over the Obama's. Their name, their religion, their patriotism just keep coming up. Even his wife's comments about "being proud to be an American for the first time in her life" has created questions about their patriotism. Arguably it may not have created questions for some Americans but for many others there seems to be a rift... most notably along racial lines. Perhaps a poll should be taken of Black Americans about their ideas of names, religion, and patriotism or maybe not. I have my ideas about what it might prove!

I don't know if why is really the concern. Does the name Hussein, conjure up all of the question, and his life abroad, and does this make him seem so out-of-the ordinary? Does this mean he is a part of something sinister? I mean this late in the campaign the "why" and "What if" has already been offered for public examination. And without merit I might ad. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but this reeks of another attempt to stop or damage the possible success of a viable candidate. Remember of the few black candidates in the past 50 years, Obama has surpassed their attempts. Regardless to OUR personal feelings regarding his "real" agenda; he is making a lot of people uncomfortable. His last name is not "Culpepper, Jackson, Johnson, or White." He has live somewhat of a life that does not mirror many Blacks in America, so naturally he doesn't appear to share the same Negro"ism", that the majority in the Black community share.

What will it take for Black America to Reclaim Our Roots?

Does Rev. Jackson's comments have any validity?

What will it take to dismantle the prison to school pipeline?

Do Blacks and Whites Have Different Views when it comes to Names, Religion & Patriotism?
