Why Jesse Why?

Well it has happened again!

The Rev. Jesse Jackson was recently caught making some critical and derogatory comments about our very first black male presidential candidate Barak Obama!

It raises the question again for many of us about Obama's presidential campaign, "is he black enough," or is he pandering to white America." Jackson may certainly think so!

What has become increasingly clear is that the castration of black males is not only a white America problem it is a black America problem. Additionally, Obama has no significant, positive or strong black male role models in his past or present sphere... as the media loves to remind us "his father abandoned him" and "Rev. Wright has been banished for sordid negative reasons."

Check the story out at the link above and share your thoughts!

I agree. But what the heck was he (Jackson) thinking? Why would you even consider, something so barberic as castration. Have we not learned of our past? He should know better than to use this type of language.

Perhaps Obama isn't "black enough", but what is "too black".
And what is not "black at all"?
Cutting another mans nuts off, can be found in the "anals" of black lynching techniques.

Like I said "what the heck was he thinking". It would have been easier just to call him up and say
"Say Brother, don't you think you are alienating the black community?
Don't you think leaving your church and distancing yourself from the environment that nurtured you looks suspect? That would have been much less embarassing and maybe a little more productive.

I wander if Jackson is considering paying Cosby a visit, and performing surgeory on him for his rhetoric about black fathers, ebonics, and down right laziness and irresponsibility among black youth. I wander?

Does Rev. Jackson's comments have any validity?
